You must have heard of THC compounds like Delta 8 and Delta 9. But do you know much about Delta 10? If not, then this blog is for you. Read along to learn more about Delta 10.
Cannabis has multiple cannabinoids. Out of them, Delta 8, 9, and 10 are some of the most known ones. But today we will mainly focus on Delta 10 cannabinoids.
Delta 10 cannabinoid or Delta 10 THC is found in the cannabis plant. Like other THCs, Delta 10 can also cause psychoactive effects when consumed in large amounts. However, it is less potent than other variants like Delta 9 THC. Also, Delta 10 or D10 is present in trace amounts in the plant and cannot be extracted. Thus, the scientists make synthetic D10 to suffice the needs.
Comparing Delta 10 and Delta 8
Both Delta 8 and Delta 10 are less potent than commonly used Delta 9 THC. However, they differ in the kind of highs they produce. Delta 8 is much weaker than Delta 9 and offers very less intense effects. This is an ideal version to be consumed when one wants to sit and relax.
On the other hand, Delta 10 is known to offer weak but slight energizing effects. Thus, the experts suggest consuming D10 when you want to boost your working efficiency.
Which is Stronger, D10 or D8?
As per an old 1988 study, both strains are weaker than D9 THC. But there is no definitive study identifying the strongest one out of the two. The users have been observed to experience similar effects consuming either of them. Some have also displayed effects after consuming just 10mg of D8 or D10. Therefore, it is advised to monitor the intake every time you consume it.
Is D10 Legal?
Well, in this case, the matter is slightly tricky. As per the Farm Bill, any hemp-derived strain is legal. But the bill does not mention D10. This has left many users and sellers in confusion. Some states in the country, however, have completely banned the use of D10. Thus, be sure to check out the laws in your area before making the purchase.
